  • Funny how my updates suddenly stop for an entire month right after I post about getting a job. Yeah, it keeps me really busy. I've been working 45+ hours every week. I worked 51.5 once. The schedule finally caught up to me yesterday. I lay down on the couch and *bam* I was asleep. But I like the work and the people are cool. So it's not bad.
Hm.. I don't think my xanga is even visited anymore, haha.

  • So I finally got a job, at ART Research Enterprises. Basically they get orders from artist, or places like museums, or even celebrities, and they mold, cast, enlarge, restore, or create sculptures. It seems pretty cool. They had me take a skills test yesterday so I worked with metal and wax, and power tools. Today I had the interview and the guy told me that usually when people take skills tests the employees that give them write down things like "forget it" or "no way" or "might be able to train". But what they had both written down for me was "hire him". So, that's a good sign 8-) Tomorrow I'll have orientation. So I'll be working there, and they'll be training me at the same time, since I really don't have experience in this area. He said that people either love it or hate it and that I'll know right away, so we'll see how it goes.

  • I should probably update this thing.

So, now I am officially graduated from highschool. Sweetness Graduation went really well and it was a lot of fun. It was cool to see so many people I knew show up. We had so much fun waiting for 45 minutes in the music room for it to start. Ben and 'lijah and I swapping our black gowns for white ones we found just for the heck of it. (we put them back though ;) ) Everyone walking on their hands. Making a colorful tie out of a scarf. Other random stuff. Afterward I went over to the Hess's for a bonfire with a bunch of other people. That was cool, but my mind was wandering elsewhere the whole time. Today I went to Tony's grad party, ate, played some ultimate frisbee, attempted basketball. I like bball but I can't shoot worth "carp". Then I headed over to Ben's grad party, ate some more, played capture the flag, went swimming in the creek.
All in all a good weekend so far. It feels good to be finished. I'm excited to move on. But I'm gonna miss it.
